Scope Of This Policy
This Refund, Cancellation and Chargeback Policy governs every purchase made from Funded Prediction Trader ("FPT"), including Founder one-time purchases of an FPT Scale evaluation account, Founder monthly plans, and evaluation resets. It applies to the Customer who made the purchase and to the payment method used to make it.
This policy forms part of the terms accepted at checkout. It is read together with the FPT Scale Program Agreement, the Terms of Use and the Simulation and Risk Disclosure. Where this policy and another FPT document address the same subject, the order of precedence in the Program Agreement applies, and the checkout or order summary controls transaction-specific fields such as product, account size, price, promotional price and billing cadence.
FPT sells access to a simulated trader evaluation program. FPT does not take deposits, does not hold Customer funds, does not route Customer orders to Polymarket, Kalshi or any exchange, and does not execute live trades for Customers. A purchase is a fee for program access, not a deposit, an investment, or a transfer of trading capital. Nothing in this policy creates a right to withdraw a balance, because no Customer balance of real money exists.
Nothing in this policy limits any right the Customer has under mandatory consumer-protection law where the Customer lives. See Applicable Law Savings Clause below.
Purchases Are Generally Final
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, and except where this policy expressly provides for a refund, all purchases from FPT are final and non-refundable.
The reason is straightforward. What a Customer buys is immediate, personal access to an evaluation account and to the rule set, analytics and platform entitlements attached to it. That access is allocated at the moment of purchase and cannot be returned, resold or restocked. FPT publishes the complete evaluation parameters, funded rules, payout mechanics and scaling tables before purchase precisely so that a Customer can decide whether the program suits them before paying:
- Complete Evaluation Rules by Account Size
- Funded Account Rules
- Payout Rules and Review
- Founder Purchase and Launch Terms
A Customer who is unsure about a rule should ask support@fundedpredictiontrader.com before purchasing rather than after.
What FPT does not claim. FPT does not treat prelaunch dashboard access as delivery of the evaluation service. Before launch, a Founder purchase gives limited access to a basic prelaunch dashboard in which trading and unfinished features clearly read "Coming soon". That limited access is not the evaluation, and FPT will not argue that the full service was rendered merely because the prelaunch dashboard was opened or used.
Discretionary Refund Consideration Before Any Simulated Trade
FPT may, in its sole discretion, consider a refund request where no simulated trade has been placed on the purchased evaluation account.
This is a discretionary review, not an entitlement. Meeting the condition above makes a request eligible for consideration; it does not make approval automatic, and FPT does not guarantee any outcome.
How to request. Email support@fundedpredictiontrader.com from the email address on the FPT account, within a reasonable time of the purchase, and include:
- The email address on the FPT account.
- The order or receipt reference from the confirmation email.
- The account size purchased and whether it was a one-time purchase or a monthly plan.
- A short statement of the reason for the request.
What FPT looks at. In deciding a discretionary request, FPT may consider whether any simulated order or position exists on the account; how much time has passed since purchase; whether the account has been used to access rules, analytics or platform entitlements; whether the Customer purchased in reliance on a statement FPT made that was inaccurate; whether the request relates to a technical failure attributable to FPT; whether the account has any open rule review; the Customer's purchase and refund history; and any indication of fraud or abuse.
FPT aims to acknowledge a request promptly and to give a decision in writing. A decision to decline is final unless new information is provided.
When A Discretionary Refund Is Not Available
Discretionary refund consideration is not available in any of the following circumstances.
| Circumstance | Effect |
|---|---|
| Any simulated trade has been placed on the purchased evaluation | No discretionary refund |
| The account has breached an evaluation or funded rule | No discretionary refund |
| Fraud, abuse, or improper misuse of the payment-dispute process is identified | No discretionary refund, and further action may follow |
After any simulated trade. Once a simulated order has been placed on the purchased evaluation, the Customer has used the evaluation for its intended purpose. A refund is not available from that point, whatever the result of the trade.
After a rule violation. Once an account has breached an evaluation or funded rule — including the maximum loss, the EOD trailing drawdown floor, the 40% consistency rule, a position or market-volume limit, or the good-faith conduct rules — a refund of the purchase fee is not available. A reset, where offered for the product, is a separate paid item and is itself non-refundable once applied. Reset pricing is published at checkout and summarised below.
| Account | One-time purchase reset | Monthly-plan reset |
|---|---|---|
| $25k FPT Scale | $69 | $39 |
| $50k FPT Scale | $99 | $59 |
| $100k FPT Scale | $159 | $99 |
A monthly-plan reset is a one-time charge. It does not reduce the subscription price.
Fraud and abuse. Where FPT identifies payment fraud, identity misrepresentation, duplicate or coordinated accounts created to obtain benefits the Customer is not entitled to, or misuse of the chargeback process as a substitute for a refund request, FPT may decline refund consideration and may take the further steps described under Payment Disputes And Chargebacks below and in the FPT Scale Program Agreement. The relevant conduct standards are published in Good-Faith Trading and Prohibited Conduct.
Duplicate And Accidental Payments
FPT does not intend to charge twice for the same entitlement. Where a Customer is charged more than once for the same purchase because of a duplicate submission, a retried payment, or a processing error, FPT will refund the duplicate charge once it is verified.
To report one, email billing@fundedpredictiontrader.com with the FPT account email and both charge references or receipt dates. FPT will verify the charges against its own records and refund the surplus amount to the original payment method.
An accidental purchase of the wrong account size is not a duplicate payment. It is handled, if at all, under Discretionary Refund Consideration Before Any Simulated Trade above.
Monthly Plan Cancellation
A Founder monthly plan can be cancelled at any time by the Customer, without contacting support, from the Billing area of the FPT dashboard.
- Cancellation stops future renewals of that subscription.
- Cancellation does not refund a period that has already been paid for and started.
- Access purchased by the completed period continues until that period ends, after which the subscription does not renew.
- Cancelling a subscription ends the Founder price lock attached to it. See Founder Price Lock And What Ends It below.
If the Billing area is unavailable to the Customer for any reason, a cancellation request sent to billing@fundedpredictiontrader.com before the next renewal date is treated as effective from the date it is received.
No Automatic Renewal Before Launch
A monthly Founder plan does not renew before the purchased evaluation is activated. This is a deliberate protection for prelaunch Customers.
- The first monthly payment is charged immediately at checkout. It prepays the first month of evaluation access, and that month begins when the evaluation is activated at launch — not on the purchase date.
- The second charge occurs 30 days after evaluation activation, and monthly thereafter until the subscription is cancelled.
- No renewal charge is taken during the prelaunch period, however long that period lasts within the published launch window.
The monthly Founder prices are:
| Account | Founder monthly plan |
|---|---|
| $25k FPT Scale | $59 per month |
| $50k FPT Scale | $79 per month |
| $100k FPT Scale | $129 per month |
The renewal date, the amount and the cancellation control are all shown in the dashboard's Billing area.
Founder Price Lock And What Ends It
A Founder monthly price is locked for the life of that specific, uninterrupted subscription. FPT will not raise the monthly price of a subscription that stays continuously active.
The lock ends if that subscription is:
- cancelled by the Customer;
- refunded;
- charged back;
- allowed to lapse through a failed payment; or
- terminated by FPT for a rules or account violation.
A later repurchase after any of those events is at then-current pricing. FPT cannot restore a lock that has ended.
The lock applies only to that account subscription and its ordinary renewals. It does not automatically extend to additional accounts, resets, upgrades, FPT Direct, future products, taxes, processor-imposed charges, or other externally imposed fees.
Launch Delay And The Single Permitted Extension
FPT intends to launch upon reaching 100 paid Founder purchases, or within 30 calendar days after the first paid Founder purchase, whichever occurs first. (The homepage phrase "Launching at 100 Waitlists" refers to this trigger; the binding condition is 100 paid Founder purchases.)
FPT may extend that window once, by up to 30 additional calendar days, if reasonably necessary. An extension is notified by email and shown in the dashboard.
A launch that occurs within the original window, or within the single permitted extension, is on time. A delay inside those windows does not by itself create a refund right, because the purchase reserves an evaluation and locks a Founder price rather than promising a particular calendar date. The Customer keeps prelaunch dashboard access and the locked price throughout.
Full details are published in Founder Purchase and Launch Terms.
Mandatory Full Refund If The Launch Does Not Happen
This section is not discretionary.
If FPT cancels the launch, or does not activate purchased evaluation accounts by the end of the final extended window, every affected Customer receives a full refund of the amount paid for the affected purchase, to the original payment method.
- No request is required. FPT initiates these refunds itself.
- FPT will notify affected Customers by email at the address on the FPT account.
- Refunds are issued within a reasonable processing time after the triggering event, and FPT will publish the expected timing in the notice.
- The refund covers the purchase price paid for the affected evaluation, including a first monthly payment that prepaid an evaluation month that never began.
- Prelaunch dashboard access is not treated as delivery and is not deducted from the refund.
Refund Method And Timing
Every approved refund is returned to the original payment method. FPT does not issue refunds to a different card, a different account holder, a different payment instrument or by any alternative route.
- FPT issues an approved refund on its side within a reasonable time of approval and emails a confirmation.
- The time for the funds to appear on the Customer's statement is controlled by the Customer's card issuer, bank or payment provider, not by FPT.
- Where the original payment method has expired or been closed, the Customer should contact their issuer first; a reversal to a closed account is normally routed onward by the issuer.
- FPT does not refund in credits, account balances or program entitlements unless the Customer expressly agrees to that alternative in writing.
- Currency conversion differences, foreign-transaction fees and similar charges applied by the Customer's own provider are outside FPT's control.
Payment Disputes And Chargebacks
FPT does not ask any Customer to give up a lawful right to dispute a payment. If a charge is genuinely unauthorised, duplicated, incorrect in amount, or otherwise disputable under the rules of the Customer's card scheme or under applicable law, the Customer is entitled to raise it with their provider, and nothing in this policy prevents that.
Please contact FPT first. Almost every billing problem — a duplicate charge, an unexpected renewal, a wrong amount, an unrecognised descriptor — is resolved faster by email than by a dispute. Write to billing@fundedpredictiontrader.com with the FPT account email and the charge reference. FPT will investigate and respond, and will correct a genuine error without requiring a dispute to be filed.
Improper disputes. A dispute is improper where it is used to reverse a charge the Customer authorised and received the benefit of, where the stated reason is untrue, or where it is used as a substitute for the refund process set out in this policy after a refund has been considered and declined. Where FPT identifies a fraudulent, abusive or improper dispute, FPT may:
- present its records — including the purchase record, the accepted document versions, the account activity log and this policy — to the payment provider in response;
- suspend or close the affected FPT account and any related accounts;
- withhold any pending payout review on an affected account pending resolution;
- end any Founder price lock attached to the disputed purchase; and
- decline future purchases from the Customer.
These consequences attach only to disputes that FPT identifies as fraudulent, abusive or improper. They do not attach to a good-faith dispute that turns out to be unfounded, and they do not attach to a dispute the Customer wins.
Technical Incidents
FPT's platform can be interrupted by maintenance, an outage, a market-data failure or a defect. Where an incident materially prevents a Customer from using a purchased evaluation, FPT will investigate and may, in its discretion, apply a remedy proportionate to the incident — for example a corrective adjustment to affected account state, an extension of an affected period, a reset at no charge, or a refund.
A technical incident does not automatically create a refund right, and FPT is not responsible for interruptions caused by the Customer's own device, connection or third-party network. Report an incident to support@fundedpredictiontrader.com with the date, time and, if possible, a screenshot. The limitations of simulated fills, delayed data and platform availability are described in the Simulation and Risk Disclosure.
How To Request A Refund
- Email support@fundedpredictiontrader.com for a discretionary refund request, or billing@fundedpredictiontrader.com for a duplicate charge, a renewal question or a billing correction.
- Write from the email address registered on the FPT account.
- Include the order or receipt reference, the account size purchased, and whether it was a one-time purchase or a monthly plan.
- State the reason for the request in a sentence or two.
- Keep the account untouched while the request is open — placing a simulated trade on the purchased evaluation ends eligibility for discretionary consideration.
FPT will confirm receipt, may ask one or two follow-up questions, and will give its decision in writing to the same address.
Applicable Law Savings Clause
Where mandatory consumer-protection law in the Customer's jurisdiction grants a refund, cancellation or withdrawal right that is broader than this policy, that law prevails to the extent of the difference and FPT will honour it. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including any statutory right in relation to services that are not supplied as described.
If any provision of this policy is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
