Funded Prediction Trader ("FPT") is a software-based simulated trader evaluation company. It provides simulated event-market evaluation accounts, trader analytics and risk-assessment tools.

This disclosure explains, without softening it, what is simulated, what is real, what FPT does not do, and where the limits of the product lie. It applies to every FPT customer and to every visitor evaluating the product. It is read together with the FPT Scale Program Agreement and the Terms of Use.

FPT is not a brokerage, an exchange, a custodian, an investment adviser, a portfolio manager, a bank, a financial institution or a trading venue. FPT is not gambling, gaming, betting, wagering, a contest or a sweepstakes. It is an evaluation program run entirely in simulation.

All Account Activity On FPT Is Simulated

Every balance, order, position, fill, price, profit and loss shown inside an FPT account is simulated. Nothing a Customer does inside an FPT account buys, sells, holds or transfers a real contract, share, token or instrument.

  • A Customer does not deposit trading capital. A Customer pays a program-access fee or subscription.
  • FPT does not hold Customer funds and does not take deposits.
  • FPT does not open, hold or manage a market position on a Customer's behalf.
  • Closing a simulated position does not release money to the Customer. Payout eligibility is determined separately under the funded rules.

The only real money that moves between FPT and a Customer is the fee the Customer pays, and any company-funded performance payout FPT approves and sends.

What An Account Size Means

An FPT Scale account size — $25,000, $50,000 or $100,000 — is a notional figure. It is the simulated starting balance the evaluation's rules are measured against, and it sets the scale of the objectives and risk limits attached to the account.

An account size is not cash, not capital transferred to the Customer, not funding placed in the Customer's control, and not buying power at any venue. No Customer receives $25,000, $50,000 or $100,000 as money. What the number does is define the arithmetic of the program:

AccountSimulated starting balanceProfit targetMaximum lossEvaluation max open size
$25k FPT Scale$25,000$1,250$1,000$1,000
$50k FPT Scale$50,000$3,000$2,000$2,000
$100k FPT Scale$100,000$6,000$3,000$3,000

The full parameter set is published in Complete Evaluation Rules by Account Size.

Customer Orders Are Not Routed To Any Exchange

FPT does not route, transmit, submit or forward Customer orders to Polymarket, Kalshi or any other exchange, venue, broker or market maker. There is no order path from an FPT account to a live market.

Market coverage from both venues is used as reference data. FPT reads publicly observable prices, liquidity and volume from the markets it covers and uses them to price and fill simulated orders inside its own system. That is the whole of the relationship: data comes in, no order goes out.

Consequently, a Customer's simulated activity has no effect on any real market's price, order book, volume or resolution, and no real counterparty exists for a simulated fill.

Simulated Fills Can Differ From Real Fills

A simulated fill is a model of what might have happened. It is not a record of what did happen, because nothing happened in a real market.

FPT's simulation considers live market price and available liquidity when it fills an order, and it is designed to be realistic rather than flattering. It nevertheless cannot reproduce every condition of a live execution. In a real market, the same order might have filled at a different price, filled only in part, filled after a delay, or not filled at all — because of queue position, competing orders, a counterparty's withdrawal, venue-side controls, or the market impact of the order itself.

FPT does not promise stale-price fills, guaranteed fills, or fills at a price a Customer expected to see. Differences between a simulated result and a hypothetical real-world result are an inherent property of simulation and are not a defect.

Market Data Can Be Delayed, Unavailable, Erroneous Or Changed

FPT depends on market data it does not produce and does not control. That data can be:

  • delayed, so that the price used for a simulated fill lags the venue;
  • unavailable, during an outage, a maintenance window or a connectivity failure;
  • erroneous, where an upstream source publishes a bad tick, a stale quote or an incorrect volume figure;
  • revised, where a source corrects earlier data after the fact; or
  • changed, where a venue alters a market's terms, its identifiers, its resolution criteria, its availability or its API.

FPT may correct account state that was produced by clearly erroneous data, and may suspend a market in its own system where the data behind it cannot be trusted. FPT does not warrant that market data is accurate, complete, timely or uninterrupted.

Slippage And Liquidity Estimates Are Estimates

Where FPT displays estimated slippage, estimated price impact, an estimated fill price, available size, or any similar figure before an order is placed, that figure is an estimate produced by a model. It is not a quote, not a commitment and not guaranteed.

The realised simulated result may be better or worse than the estimate. Estimates should be treated as a planning aid, not as a promise about the outcome of the next order.

Market Availability, Thin Markets And Position Limits

Not every market visible at a venue is tradeable inside FPT, and a market that is tradeable today may not be tomorrow.

  • Position limits apply. A position may not exceed the account's max open size, and may not exceed 5% of that market's trailing 24-hour volume. The allowed size is the lower of those two figures. Orders that exceed the limit are blocked by the trading system.
  • Thin or unavailable markets may be restricted. Where a market's liquidity is too low for a meaningful simulation, FPT may limit or disable it.
  • Late entry near expiration is restricted. Opening a position immediately before an explicit market expiration is restricted. The exact cutoff has not yet been fixed and will be published before launch in Market Expiration and Late-Entry Restrictions. FPT will not state a figure it has not decided.
  • Resolution and dispute. A market in resolution or under dispute at its venue may be restricted inside FPT while its outcome is unsettled.

Full detail: Max Open Size and Market-Volume Limits.

Technical Interruptions

FPT's platform is software, and software fails. Access can be interrupted by scheduled maintenance, an unplanned outage, a deployment defect, a data-provider failure, a network problem, or an event outside FPT's control.

FPT does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. An interruption may prevent a Customer from opening, adjusting or closing a simulated position at the moment they intended, and that can affect the outcome of an evaluation or a payout cycle. Where an incident is material and attributable to FPT, remedies are handled as described in the Refund, Cancellation and Chargeback Policy and the Program Agreement.

Customers are responsible for their own device, browser, connection and power.

The Limitations Of Simulated And Hypothetical Performance

Simulated and hypothetical results carry limitations that real trading results do not.

  1. They are prepared with hindsight available. A simulation runs in a system that knows how its own model behaves; a live market does not cooperate.
  2. They carry no real financial risk. No Customer money is exposed inside an FPT account, and the psychological pressure of risking one's own capital — which changes how people actually trade — is absent.
  3. They exclude real-world frictions. Venue fees, funding costs, withdrawal mechanics, counterparty behaviour and market impact are not reproduced in full.
  4. They cannot account for liquidity that would have moved. A large order in a real book changes the book. A simulated order does not.
  5. They may reflect model choices about fills, timing and slippage that a different model would resolve differently.

For these reasons, a result achieved inside an FPT account should not be read as a prediction of what the same approach would produce in a live market with real money.

No Investment Advice

Nothing FPT publishes is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing FPT publishes is a recommendation to enter, avoid or exit any market or position.

This includes the website, the dashboard, analytics, risk metrics, market lists, educational material, blog articles, Help Center articles, emails and community channels. FPT does not assess whether any market or approach is suitable for any individual, does not know a Customer's circumstances, and does not act as a fiduciary. Customers make their own decisions and should take independent professional advice where they need it.

No Brokerage, Exchange Or Custody Relationship

FPT is not registered, and does not hold itself out, as a broker, dealer, exchange, alternative trading system, futures commission merchant, investment adviser, money transmitter, custodian or bank. No such relationship arises from purchasing or using an FPT account.

FPT does not hold Customer money, does not maintain Customer securities or contract positions, and does not provide access to any venue's order entry. A Customer who wishes to participate in a real prediction market must do so directly with a venue that lawfully offers it to them, entirely outside FPT.

No Guarantee Of Passing, Payout Or Live Allocation

FPT makes three refusals explicitly, and repeats them here so that no marketing sentence can be read as overriding them.

  • No guarantee of passing an evaluation. The evaluation has objectives and risk limits, and most attempts at any objective-based program do not succeed. FPT does not guarantee, estimate or imply that any individual will pass.
  • No guarantee of a payout. A payout requires an active funded account, satisfaction of every applicable rule — including qualifying payout days, the 40% per-cycle consistency rule and the applicable payout cap — and approval on review. Approved payouts are processed within 48 hours of approval; the review step that precedes approval is a separate step and FPT does not attach a time promise to it. See Payout Rules and Review.
  • No guarantee of future live allocation. Any future opportunity involving live capital would be entirely discretionary. It is not promised, not earned automatically by performance, and not implied by passing an evaluation, receiving payouts or reaching a scaling milestone.

What Company-Funded Performance Payouts Are And Are Not

A payout under FPT Scale is a performance payment made by FPT from FPT's own funds to a trader who met the published rules on a simulated account and passed payout review.

A payout isA payout is not
A company-funded performance paymentA withdrawal of a deposit
Calculated from simulated results under the 90/10 splitA return on an investment
Subject to caps, cycle rules and reviewWinnings from gaming or wagering activity
Paid at FPT's own expenseA distribution of other customers' money
Capped in aggregate at $25,000 per person per month across all accountsUnlimited or automatic

The measurement period for the $25,000 aggregate monthly maximum — whether it is a calendar month or a rolling 30-day period — is not yet fixed and will be published before launch. FPT will not state a definition it has not decided.

Payout caps are stated net to the trader: a published cap of $1,000 means the trader can receive up to $1,000 after the 90/10 split mechanics are handled internally. Caps and max open size step up on each approved payout, as set out in Scaling Tables by Account Size.

Per-person limits also apply: a maximum of 5 active accounts, a maximum combined allocation of $500,000, and the aggregate monthly payout maximum above. See Account Limits and Allocation Caps.

Third-Party Names And Non-Affiliation

FPT is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or partnered with Polymarket, Kalshi or TruthTick unless FPT expressly states otherwise in writing.

Those names are used only to identify the markets whose public data FPT references, and any third-party trademark, name or logo belongs to its respective owner. Nothing on FPT's surfaces should be read as a statement by any of those parties, and none of them is responsible for FPT's product, its simulation, its rules or its payouts.

Your Responsibility For Eligibility Where You Live

Laws differ, and they differ specifically around event and prediction markets. It is the Customer's responsibility to confirm that purchasing and using a simulated evaluation product is permitted where they live before they buy.

FPT does not provide legal advice on that question and cannot assess an individual's local position. A Customer who is unsure should take local advice. FPT may decline or terminate service where it determines it cannot lawfully or practically provide it, and eligibility requirements — including identity verification before a payout — are set out in the FPT Scale Program Agreement.

Past And Simulated Performance Does Not Guarantee Future Results

No result — a Customer's own, another trader's, an example in an article, or a figure in a chart — predicts a future result. Markets change, liquidity changes, volatility changes, and an approach that worked in one period can fail in the next.

Where FPT publishes an example, it is an illustration of how a rule computes, not a representation of typical or expected performance. FPT does not publish fabricated statistics, trader counts, testimonials or awards, and any figure that is an example is labelled as one.

FPT's Own Research And Proprietary Activity

Separately from the evaluation program, FPT may conduct internal research and proprietary business activity using its own resources and its own capital. That may include analysing account activity and performance data, developing risk models and analytics, testing internal simulated or live replication of strategies, and researching future product lines.

This is FPT's own activity, conducted at FPT's own risk and expense. It does not involve Customer money, does not create an investment relationship, and does not entitle a Customer to a share of any result. Identifying a high-performing trader or strategy for internal review creates no promise of live allocation, copy trading, increased limits, special status or additional compensation unless FPT agrees to it separately in writing. The data rights that support this activity are described in the Privacy Policy and the Program Agreement.
